while doing a rip conversion of "V" the mini-series..at the end of my first disk... the sound cuts out for the last 3 seconds or so... thats ok... I always overlap a bit..

How can I cut or delete just those last couple seconds of my mpg without having TMPGenc do a cut/join?

I tried cutting it out till that spot, and it just made it worse...

What program(s) can I use to just delete the last couple of seconds... without a ton of processing or time... I know the time frame/frame number to cut from to the end...

thanks.

Mike

Define 'a ton of processing' time smile.gif I would use bbMPEG. You'd have to:

1) Load MPEG in bbMPEG
2) De-mux MPEG (ie. spilt into MPV and MPA files
3) Choose start/stop point for new MPEG file, and mux it

I have a Tbird 1.2Ghz and to do this for a 730MB MPEG2 file takes ~8min for start to finish. TMPGenc will do the job in one step, but I think bbMPEG is faster at cutting.
