Hi There,

I'm capturing from VHS with a tv-card(BT8.. chip).
Picture quality is fine.
However, I'm getting this irritating Scratching/Ticking
sound whenever someone speaks ... ??
My sound is from Audio out on VHS to Line-in on SB Live card.
I am encoding in PCM.

Any Ideas ??

Regards,
Gavin

Does your sound card support 48KHZ audio? That could be why it's scratchy...but I think SB Live does support it.

Maybe the volume recording level is too high?
