VCD Audio Problem

Hi, I am having one problem here. I have a chinese movie VCD. It has dual language, mandarin and cantonese. I've to set it to left channel so that only mandarin language can be heard or set it to right channel so that only cantonese can be heard. But I set to left or right, both language is coming out. I am using SBLIVE value and Windows 2000 Professional. How can I solve this problem? Thank you.
