I dont know if anyone has ever d/l a music video - but most have these tags at the start which kinda cut into the song - so i cant just cut them out. Can someone show me how i can replace the tag(pic thats there) with another one - like paste over with a blank screen which says the name of the song etc..
I have adobe premiere btw - this is a vcd file and so i want to maintain those settings

If you have Adobe Premiere you can easily do what you want.
First make sure you use A/B editing mode in Premiere.
Insert your video in track "Video 1B".
Make your openning screen in Photoshop or similar; it should be same resolution as your video. Save it as TIFF and import in Premiere. Insert the image in track "Video 1A". Place it in the start (or wherever the annoying tag is) and give a duration for it to be displayed (probably as long as the tag is). Hit preview et voila! The picture you made replaces the part of the video you placed it over!
Premiere can be a real pain to operate, so it may not be as easy as it seems, but it definately can be done.
Good luck
