Hi, I was wondering if there was any way toplay VCDs on my computer with certain software or whatever and be able to see menus that i would normally see on my stand alone DVD player. Im not using a DVD drive, just a normal cdrw drive.
And btw, is there ANY way to play VCDs on my playstation 2? I heard you cant!

Hi,
About the PS2 thingie... You can't play actual VCD's on it, but you can convert them to a playable disc fo your PS2.
Check out this post for more info :

iconboy,
Most software DVD players can also play VCDs. Good players are PowerDVD and WinDVD. WinDVD will also play SVCDs. For VCD and SVCD it should not be necessary to have a DVD drive.
Also a freeware player called SthsDVD was mentioned in this forum, but I don't have experience with this one. I have seen a download link in this forum, you can use the search to find it.
