i just updated my dvd825 to 9.28 firmware and everything works pretty good.... vcd,svcd, xvcd as well. however, there is still some problems with the FF/REW - it only work son a few vcds. ive noticed that on most "pro" authored vcds from asia like JP3, final fantasy ALL of the FF/REW features work excellent and there is no problem w/ skipping or pausing. however, on homemade rips like dvd and tv rips the FF/REW features do not work at all.

also, ive heard this player can do MP3 data cds but it doesnt work for me. when i put an mp3 cd in it tries to read it and spits it back out a few seconds late. has anyone gotten mp3 to work with this?
