How do I resume a avi file (corrupted) from WinMX? I was trying to download it , I was at 80% and all of a sudden, it had that blue screen that tells me that the computer is going to terminate the file. And when I try to resume it, it says the resume does not match.

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Can I take out some of the ending part and download again or something?

Dont know what WinMX is but the blue screen is death and I only know that you have to start the download from the beginning I'm afraid.

Well, I am starting all over again, but I'm downloading the .mpg file. So no converting has to get in my way! Also, WinMX is a great program. It's like napster, yes a file sharing program. It lets you download pictures, mp3, and video files (avi, mpg, mov, asf, and mpeg). If you want to download the program, go to my page here: http://sk8brdryn.tripod.com/winmx/ or go straight to the site here: http://www.winmx.com .

It's only 1.6 MBs so it won't take long to get started!

Thanks for that proggy. Only thing though file downloaded without an extension or association. I added .EXE and it appears to run OK.
