I have a different problem with my Apex 700. Most people write in about problems playing (S)VCD's. My problem is the opisite. My player Will play all the demo clips on this web site but after having the player for 3 months it now has a lot of ttouble playing DVD's, but still plays (S)VCD's and my MP3 collection. Any ideals anyone. I hope this is not trminal.

I don't know about the Apex 700, but I have the Apex AD703. As per the reviews, the first one crapped out. I returned it and got a second (with the buyer protection plan) and it has worked fine. I love the player, but I'm afraid it's reliablity may be an issue.
