Having just upgraded my Linux computer to Mandriva 2009 Spring [Gnome] last month, I just got a message that Mandriva 2010 is released....

I much prefer Mandriva over Ubuntu 9.04 or Suse/OpenSuse or Mepis.... Although I must admit I did really like Mepis 7.0 but they are not offering Gnome...huh.gif

Any Mandriva fans or users here?

I have used Mandriva 2009 spring with KDE and liked it a lot. I just tried ubuntu 9.10 and like that too. I am going to make a fresh install on my main PC but have not decided if I should choose mandriva or ubuntu this time... Distrowatch first look at Mandriva 2010 was positive at least:

I also have not decided to install 64-bit or 32-bit. I have an intel quad core CPU and 4GB of RAM so maybe I should go for 64-bit Mandriva 2010.
Or is 32-bit better with video applications?
