Not a fan of this unit, but for $55, it probably has some uses. cool.gif
XP mode, HSP mode, fed from cable or satellite box.

When was this one made? How's the picture quality in the 2:30 and 3:00 modes? I've seen some pretty decent 3 hour DVDs from Sony recorders.

That price with a 90 minute mode is tempting, but going by the CNet and Amazon reviews, the UI is really buggy.

Wow that's a great price for a HDMI upconverter and even includes a IR blaster. Bix, as LS said 1 or 1.5 hr speed would probably be best. For sure I wouldn't go over SP or 2hrs. That would be why I personally wouldn't be interested, but for $55 it's hard to find a decent player!
