Yeah it's too bad I won't be putting Windows 7 on my main workstation that has the 1600 in it still. I actually had to buy a used WMC remote in order to use MC7 on the craptop that I've got running as a bedroom HTPC extender.

You should just play around w/ Windows 7 a bit, it might grow on you lol

I paid for Vista Ultimate so I am going to use it; and because Adobe CS4 only states support for Vista at this time.

Does Win7 MCE support clearQAM from the HVR-1600 yet? If so I will move it over.

Well hell, if you got Vista Ultimate you are all set

I never plunked down for Vista so buying Windows 7 makes sense for me

@ edDV, I don't have a source to check that 1 out, sorry bro', I can tell you this tho', WinTV7 works great as a stand alone app in Win7 w/ Dolby Digital spdif output, I have it pinned to the taskbar next to MC7, but I only get Pro Logic in MC7

I have not figured out how to get DD out of MC7 yet except for w/ blu ray and DVD played by PDVD8
