Having a good look at The Harris Poll company I'm leaning to what adam said.
That company is at least unreliable.

While it isn’t surprising that most people aren’t planning an upgrade to Blu-ray this year, the fact that HD DVD players are in more homes than Blu-ray players is a bit shocking.
According to NYT and other sources, as of June 2009 (1.5 year since its "death") HD-DVD is still beating BluRay in USA:
11% own a HD DVD player (only 3% owns XBOX360 with HD-DVD drive)
7% own a Blu-ray player (but 9% own a S*ny PS3) |
9% of what, 7%? i.e. 0.63%
or the more likely 9% have a PS3 on top of the 7% that have a BD player, making 16% in total...

Quite the contrary. They produce exactly the result the client asks for. They wouldn't be in business long if they didn't.

0.63% is not much but thats not a case i think.
9% for ps3 on bd players market is quite much and most of this ps3 probably was not baught for bd playback but for gaming.
im not believing too much in ths numbers anyway
