Hi
I have converted some of my TV series DVDs iso's in to MKV files with the "MakeMKV" program, which is very simple and splits the disks into episodes from title tracks. So far so good, but..

I have a few disks which have obviously been authored differently because they dont contain different title tracks for episodes, they are just 1 single track with around 36 chapters.

So I'm looking for a some advice as to what would be the easy way to convert these disks into individual episode mkv files.

many thanks

PLease use a better subject. I changed it this time.

I guess you have to do it manually then, try vob2mpg and see if it splits by title tracks and then remux the mpg to mkv using mkvtoolnix.

Hi I looked at vob2mpg but only the paid version offers the ability to extract specific chapters

That does the trick - i never actually looked at the disk content but I saw in dvddecrypter that the episodes are all individual vobs.

Thanks for the all the help! you're a star smile.gif
