Most of video hosting services require Flash player to watch a video online. Is there any alternative video player to watch the video online instead of the Flash player?

Not anything that works reliably. SWFDec and gnash have some flash capability, they tend to work with flash V7-V8, nothing above that.

Are you having issues with flash playback?

If you can download the flv file, various media players (VLC Mplayer) can play the FLV files just fine.
