Hey People

I have just bought a dvdplayer from LG named DVX492H and have now looked for 2 hours realmad.gif on the internet and just cant find the solution how to make it regions free. question.gif exclaim.gif question.gif
Have tryed the:
Turn on the player (without disc inserted)
Open the disc tray
(Press PAUSE)
Press 0, 0, 0, (0)
Enter region (1-6; 0=region free)
(Press PAUSE)
Turn it off

That should work to dvx392h but no luck.... sad.gif

So if you got an ide how to and maybe an link to do it, i will be a happy man biggrin.gif

Thanks for the info. I'm going to buy this next week and try this too. BTW, Are you satisfied to this player?

Yes its so far a good player. smile.gif and can play divx over usb with out any problems.. smile.gif
So buy, burn file to a cd, unkock dvd then you have a great player.!

have you tried the hdmi playback? does the player do a good upconverting job? cheers.

If you havnt got a hack to work yet i have just used the hack for the lg dvx350. follow the link make the cd. follow the instructoins . works fine
