    Welcome rotembal

Its not a subtitle yet ... You have to know something about file compression ... try unpacking it first with

  5. Try LHarc or 7-zip, maybe WinRAR. The file extension conforms to no known subtitle format, the LHN extension is listed as a compressed file format. Unless someone is just screwing with you.

You could try viewing it with Notepad, possible some idiot just changed the extension for some unknown reason.

    HI,
I THINK that you missed something let me give you some background.
There is a fight between 1 subtitles group http://www.qsubs.co.il in Israel & one site http://www.torec.net
because of this fight the subtitles group (QSUBS) decided to release there subtitle in encrypted format LHN
the only way to watch movie with this format is to install specific software that uses vob.
so we are the viewers stuck in the middle of this fight & can't watch movies in dvd's streamers etc.
the only way to see movies in dvd's & streamers is to re encode the movie that we download & "to plant" the subtitle.
example for one subtitle in this format:
    http://www.sratim.co.il/movies/subtitles/download.aspx?mid=73000&n=2056250923&ID=166513

    that's the story...

  9. The "subtitle" file in the link is a standard SRT subtitle file, lots of players will handle that.

Now I am confused as to the problem. "special player to handle VOBs?".

Does the linked file contain readable language, or is it scrambled somehow? If that file is readable to you, then I don't understand what exactly the issue is.

My guess is that what dumdum1945 means is that they have to install a special software player that understands the encrypted subtitle format that Qsubs is now using.
