I'm currently converting all my favourite DVD's to X264 using Staxrip (I'm using this as it've flexible and allows me to keep full resolution), but I'm finding a few dvd's that I can't convert.
When I try to open the files and it tries to create the d2v file it comes up with an error saying there's missing audio or video stream and to check my PID's. I've had a search online but can't find what this means, or how to correct it. Can anyone point me in the right direction please.
Thanks

Hmmm, annoying....! I can't access the site as my account is locked! Cartainly not banned! Must be cos I've not used it for years!
I'll have a try with that other tool, see if that fixes it.

Are your DVD's decrypted properly (with anydvd or dvdfab)?
Try using a newer version of DGMPGdec manually (The staxrip changelog says it's still on an older version if you are using the bundled one, 1.5.0 vs 1.5.2)

Yeah, DVDfab. That's worked, if I create the d2v file manually with DGMPGdec Staxrip will import it ok. Just trying the encoding to see if it comes out ok.
Is it possible to get Staxrip to use 1.5.2?
