I've created a menu with animated buttons... that is... when the buttons are selected, (not activated), a video clip plays in place of that button. I achieved this using the "Switched Menus" work around. This entails making a root menu that is linked to several other menus, (a separate menu for each button).
I've set all the buttons to "auto action" and it works when I play it in a standalone dvd player. When i play the DVD in a computer I have to click the button to get it to it's selected state... then click it again to activate it. So basically mouse rollovers don't auto-activate the button. I don't see any settings in DVDSP4 that deal with this. Does anyone know if there's a script or some other solution to this problem.
Thanks,
Justin

Yes. But that's related to the player software, not the authoring application. Therefore there is no solution for this problem at the authoring stage.

I've tried it with the default Apple DVD Player, MS Media Player, AVS DVD Player... didn't work on any of those. Also... does not work when I simulate the disc in DVDSP4

Can you post an archive of the DVD structure (video_ts folder) with just dummy video clips so we can test it with other players or look at the structure.
Windows media Player is not a good test on the PC. It rarely works well with DVD at the best of times.
