Hi, for some reason my pc which used to have USB 2.0 has now only got 1.1 (every time I plug my camera into a port it tells me to use a high speed port)
Now I've seen those USB hubs you plug into your PC to expand the amount of ports and they say it's backwards compatable with 1.1, but does that mean I will get 2.0 out of the ports or just 1.1?

1.1
You need to fix your port driver or buy a USB2.0 pci card.

If you truly had USB 2.0 support before, something has gone wrong.
Reinstall or update your motherboard and chipset drivers and firmware. That should re-establish USB 2.0.
If not, a USB 2.0 card is a pretty inexpensive option.

Look in your 'Device Manager">Universal Serial Bus Controllers'. You should see something similar to a 'Standard Enhanced' controller. That's a USB 2.0 controller. You can uninstall or update them there. If you uninstall, then reboot, it might reset it. But if all else fails, a USB 2.0 PCI card is fairly cheap.
