Hi
i have installed Tmpgenc dvd author 3, everything is working fine expect when i try to write i get "no usable writing device installed" i have Sony DRU-810A dvd writer.
can someone help me

Wrong forum. Moving you to DVD & Blu-ray Writers. smile.gif

Does the burner work with ImgBurn? If so the problem would seem to be with TMPGENc.

Does the drive show up in BIOS or Windows Device Manager? Try uninstalling the drive in Device Manager if it shows there, and reboot which should have Windows reinstall the drive.

yeah it shows in BIOS and works fine with imgBurn, nero, etc..
I want one prg to do the complete job from editing, authoring.. that is TmpgEnc.
i think the issue is with TmpgEnc compatibility with sony writer.

Maybe the only choice is to flash to another firm/or crossflash. 840 is a rebadge, right?
