How should I to edit my VOB files that I have recorded on my DVD writer from camcorder.
I need to cut and edit scenes in the files, to burn the entire movie into a dvd when finished.

If i convert the VOB file to mpg or avi, then edit and author, will it loose video quality. i have ulead

I have searched the forums, similar sort of question was asked back in 2006, reason for asking again is maybe there are some new better programs.

thanks

If your camcorder is DV, do your edits in DV (transfer it to your computer via FireWire), and create a DVD once you're done with all edits.
