Is there a hack for the DVR650HK? I see tons of places on the net selling it region free... The reason why I ask is because at Christmas I bought a DV400 from Futureshop which I had plugged directly to my Panasonic Versa 42" plasma which I bought at the same time and found out 2 days ago it plays all my downloaded PAL movies and I haven't even modified anything on it.

Anyhow I tought maybe, just maybe, Pioneer allowed so I tried playing PAL movies on my DVR650 and all I got was a black screen and the sound, my DVR650 is connected to my VSX-94TXH, so I thought I would call Pioneer Canada and ask them if I plug my DV400 into my reciever will it block the singal? I found then they supposedly lock the drives into region 1...

So I am look for a hack, there's gotta something out there is companies are selling region free decks. ohmy.gif)
