I'm doing a website for a guy who wants video on his website.
I tried importing the video and the only way I could get it to import was pulling the .mts files
it was a sony carl zeiss varona sorrona t* or something like that and it plugged into my computer through the usb.
It acted as a drive and i could open up certain folders. I just copied the folder to my external for now but it shows a bunch of .mts files some .cpi files and 2 .bdm files
how do i convert them to mpg or avi or something so I can embed these videos into the website.
i really need some help and if you could do that that would be awesome.
these are all the different files i pulled from the video camera
please help[/img]

The free ways are a major pain if you're not video savvy. Do a seach on AVCHD conversion - that's what MTS files are.

Hi, does anyone know of a free download to convert MTS/CPI files to Mpeg/.mov or something similar for Mac?
to then take the files into final cut?
I tried the previous method on this forum but it seems it is PC only? is this right? thanks
