Hi all, thanks in advance for answering me this simple question.
I have a budget of about $100 to buy a stand alone DVD video recorder, must support firewire input. Would like it to support as many disk formats as possible,
but essentially alll I need to do is to be able to record from iLink Firewire onto DVD, with the timecode from my DV tape being recorded and displayed on the image being burnt to the DVD.
I have a load of mini DV tapes that need to be reviewed and clip logs made.
Please help!
Recommendations for a cheap, reliable machine please.
Thanks

All can do this is you use the analog inputs (s-video + RCA audio) instead of firewire. You can then set the camera to display the timecode for output. Very few firewire based recorders show the timecode on screen, and fewer, if any, under US$100

Thanks, which one does display the timecode then from firewire?
How much will I have to spend?
