I have Nero 8 and im burning from an .AVI file that looks and plays wonderful on my computer but once Nero trans codes and burns to the DVD its very pixilated and "blocky" especially during still shots in the video where theres not much movement...I have the 1pass transcoding option clicked should I go with the 2 pass?? Please help...

Try something else for your AVI to DVD needs - like FAVC, convertx2dvd, DIKO...
But on the whole, 2 pass encoding would in theory give you better results, at least if it's > 1 hours of video to a DVD5.
Strangest thing is: The stills usually look good - the high action scenes is where the troubles usually begins.

I'm sorry its a "Windows Movie File" I thought it was an AVI? Should I still try that program?
