Being new to this forum, I apologise if I missed information in my searches.

I would like the code to disable the disc copy protection, so I can record from a DVD to the VCR tape, on subject DVD player-VC recorder. I have tried all of the codes I could find in various posts, including those that are "compatible" like the Zenith or DV1130 posts. Nothing seems to disable the macrovision.

Thanks in advance.

Then there is probably nothing that can disable it.

Yep....Macrovision is the best. It cannot be defeated by any means.
I just recently donated money to macrovision via Paypal for the stupendous
work they have done to safeguard Hollywood's movies from the rampant
piracy that plagues our modern world. After all....everyone who buys a Hollywood
VHS tape or DVD is out to screw them....I've seen statistics to prove it.
ALL HAIL MACROVISION!!!!!

The only combo players that I know of that allowed MV to be disabled were older Lite-On units. I doubt it can be disabled on your player.

You will need to play the DVD on one machine...output the video through a video "clarifier" into another machine and record it.

Aside from that, why the hell would you want to record ONTO VHS tape. You lose quality and if you are someone you know doesn't have a DVD player, you can get one for $30.
