Hey is there any free transitions for sony vegas on the internet because the ones that come with it are lame.

Not lame, you roll your own. Vegas isn't a push button program.

Can you please clarify exactly what you mean by "lame?"
Vegas has an abundance of preset transitions. You may not realize (or simply haven't spent enough time to discover) that these transitions can be modified to one's personal preference.
Exactly what kind of transitions are you looking for (or hoping to find)?

And how many transitions do you really need ? 95% of my transitions are 2 - 5 frame cross fades, or 1 - 2 second dissolves. I find most transitions bundles with NLEs or as separate plugin packs to be cheesy, and only appropriate for doing 70's television parodies.
