Hi All,

I do not have a tv in my room but a computer. I want to play some dvd movies using my pc monitor as a display. I look at the product rj-200bk dvd player by rjtech and it has an vga output. I wonder if I can connect rj-200bk to my pc monitor and play some dvd movie. Any help will be appreciate. Thanks.

Why not play the DVD from the computer?

Playing the DVD from the computer is not convenient to me. Sometimes, I place the dvd in the dvd-rom and it's just spinning. It makes me frustrated. and to watch a movie, i have to boot the computer. Not like the regular dvd player, you just put it in and play. Thanks.

I had an RJ Tech DVD player and I did hook it up to a computer monitor and it worked well. I needed to hook it upto a TV to access it's menu and change it's output to VGA and then hooked it upto the computer monitor. Sounds like your DVD-ROM is defective, you might want to install a new DVD-ROM before buying a DVD player with a VGA output.
