I need to transfer my videos in AVCHD on a Sony HDR-UX1 to my computer so I can burn them on a DVD. Is there an easy way?

I will need to upgrade to 512 ram I see before I can run it. Thanks for the info

Youch! Your system is going to run so much faster on 512MB. BTW, you deserve it - upgrade to 768MB - that'll be your existing 256MB RAM + a 512MB stick.
