Can you help, i burned a film onto a disc and there was no sound. Before i burn the film i converted it into video ts Vts etc so i could put it through dvd shrink..
Also there seem to be 2 vob files in there, could that be the problem wuith the sound, i've checked that my volume was not on mute as i was getting sounds from everything else.
If you need it i can give you a screen shoot of what i got n my folder.
Thanks.

You can burn ISOs with ImgBurn, which I would recommend for burning VIDEO_TS folders also. Use the latest version. It's freeware. For VIDEO_TS folders, use the 'Build' mode.
A VIDEO_TS folder can have as many VOB files as needed. They are set at a 1GB size, so most DVDs converted with Shrink have four or five. A commercial DVD will have more, depending on size. For the DVD format, look to the upper left on this page in 'WHAT IS' DVD.
If you are playing the finished DVD on your computer, you may not have the proper audio codecs installed. Try playing with VLC Media Player as it uses it's own codecs. Nothing to install.

Thanks for getting back, I've just done a check and for some reason the films I've got on my HDD the sound will only play on Divx player witch i only installed 2 days ago. Before i installed divx player i had no problem with the sound.
I was able to play the films on any other player, ie windows media player media player classic etc. And had no problem with burning
Could the divx player be causing the problem ?

Tony L - This forum is for VCD/SVCD issues and your problem is with DVD authoring. You should have posted it in the DVD Authoring forum.
Is there a moderator who can move this thread to the correct forum?
