Not the same settings, but the same tool. And yes, Nokia MM Converter works for SE. Used it with my P800. For my more current z550i, I use 3gp converter, 3gp2+AAC General setting (w/o 3gpp2 header), QCIF Normal q at 1/2 original frame rate (12.5 for 25 fps source).
Excellent q for the small screen, both audio + video. Can fit 4 full length movies on 1 GB mem.

Witch one do you suggest I should use for my p990i?
And what do you mean by

That's the preset I use for z550 in 3gp converter.

ok, after reading many many different posts about video on my newly aquired P990i I finally got it working using AVS video tools and creating a 3gp file.

one issue.................I started to convert pitch black and then stopped it for some reason I can not recall then started it again and let it run through I copied it to my phone and it came back and said it cant play movie want to try again...........#$%#@!

so for kicks and giggles I copied up the one that I had stopped about half way through the conversion and it played!!!!

the only difference is that the full copy (that wont play) is 122 meg

the one that (will play) is 49 meg

anyone have anything similar happen to them?

btw I have a 1 gig scandisk card so I would not think memory is an issue

tia
