Ok, I am new to the whole HTPC thing but I am beginning to dabble… Anyway my first concern with the Media Center in Vista Ultimate is that I can’t seem to “hide” the navigation buttons and transport control buttons (when playing files from the Video Library). I assume it is possible but for the life of me I can’t see the setting… Anyone with any clues?

Odd.

I've just tried it and the toolbars etc disappear automatically after about 2 or 3 seconds (Vista Ultimate RTM).

Well that is what i would expect to happen too... I suspect it is an issue that i am having with getting my nVidia card working on the TV (with the vista beta drivers!!). I will continue to tinker but if this has been seen before...

Interesting. Pressing "escape" did the job - now it works as expected. Not sure why I had the issue in the first place!

Thanks for the confirmation that it should work properly!
