Hey everyone,
I'm building a media center home theater in the near future and I found a TV that suits the area I'm using perfectly:
http://www.hitachi.us/tv/browse/projection/16-9digital/51F59.shtml
I was reading the owner's manual online, I looked up the info on the DVI input and it it says not recommended for PC use, which is exactly what I wanted to use it for (movies, games, and music, not so much any other use), does anyone know why they wouldnt recommend using the input for a PC?
My best guess is burn-in issues, which wouldnt apply if i just used it for movies, any further insight?

That and the HDMI would only work for 1080i/480i/480p and maybe 720p. You would need a special graphics card or use a YPbPr analog componet input adapter @ 1080i or 720p.
I'd suggest an ATI "AVIVO" or NVidia "Pure Video" card.
It should work OK for movies. Expect at least 5% overscan.
