A short explanation how to set up a streaming service from a DVBT Card. You can also remotely change channels and record TV.
Hardware:
A computer DVB-T card with BDA drivers.
Tools:
DVB WebScheduler, JTVLan and VLC Media Player
On server computer with DVB-T Card:
Install VLC Media Player.
Install DVB WebScheduler and confingure it, scan for channels.
Extract JTVLan server and run JTVLan setup and configure it, set folders to dvb and vlc.
On client computer:
Install VLC Media Player.
Extract JTVLan client and run JTVlan setup, set the IP to the server computer.
Start JTVLan client and you can select between all channels, if you have a slower internet connection be sure to enable Transcoding and lower the video, audio bitrate and screen size.
Done!
It works fine with my WinTV PVR 900 card.

I need to implement the following. Please advise.
1. I need to stream Satellite Channels to my websites, so I can let my visitors watch all the Arabic Channels available. Let's say I have about 10 channels to stream.
2. What do I need to do that. So far I am streaming only one channel, because I am using the Satellite receiver and I am just streaming one channel using Windows Media Encoder 9 with Microsoft Server to stream the media to the internet using Media services.
So If I need to do this for every channels, using the solution that I have, I need 10 receivers and 10 computers and 3 satellites each with 4 LNB.
Please help and tell me if the DVB and what you have is capable of doing that with just the Receiver and the DVB card.
thx
