I didn't see any reference to unlock codes for that particular unit either. Even though it is a pain, you might run them through DVDShrink or a similar program and reburn them as region free.

And welcome to our forums. smile.gif

Buzzy - Look for a program called Any DVD. It's not free, but you could use it to decrypt your DVDs to your PC and then use DVD Shrink to shrink them to a single layer disc and burn.

There are other ways to do this that do involve free software, but they would also involve potentially you having to replace the firmware on your PC's DVD drive and that's not a good task for a newbie to undertake. Any DVD will offer you a safe way to decrypt the DVDs to your PC.

Despite what some people think, many DVD players don't have unlock codes. Some people do honestly believe that every single DVD player on the planet can be put into region free mode with a few simple clicks on the remote control but that is not the case.

Try to rip them with DVD Decrypter or DVDFab Decrypter (freewares).

Update to the region unlock code.
I have now been able to find a code Number that will now gain access to the Region Menu but cannot find the way to change the region number displayed ( 2 ) I have tried the normal arrow buttons and other combinations but can't gain access to a Green box with region 2 inside this box anybody got any ideas question.gif I'am getting there.
Thanks buzzy

Access
1 Press setup
2 Enter number 1389 via the remote
3 Hidden Menu now displayed with Green box at the bottom with region code displayed
