Arrghhh...

OK, I bought a new Pioneer 111D drive to replace the faulty 106XA in my DVR-510HS, but the new drive doesn't have the two pin SPDIF connector!!! So, I looked at the other Pioneer drives on Newegg and they don't have a one either.

Do you guys (& dolls) think I need this if I'm only using the drive to record and not play back?
