I'm looking for an inexpensive multi region HD player. Any suggestions??

well i can tell you what you can do

i bought refurb samsung HD841 (upconvert to 1080i+plays even dvdaudio and sacd) for $49 at www.buyersspecial.com (DVI cabel included)

i put new firmware on it available online which is making player HDCP free + add divx playing capabilities + DVD-MP3 capabilities

than you apply region remote hack very easily available here

for $50 what you want more...refurb looks like new as i have one home already...

there is no HD player or blue ray player yet as everybody knows

samsung is dvdplayer with HD upconvert capabilities to convert regular dvd to 1080i...

now you know...i am pretty sure that this is what FULCI meant if he asked about HD player
