Video with hardsubs burn?

Hi

I have some video that are hardsubbed. How can i burn them to a disc, so i can watch them on my dvd player? When i tried, only the video and sound came, not the subs.

In that case, they are either not hardsubbed, or your TV suffers from severe overscan.

But i cant see the subs, what could it be then?

That the video isn't hard subbed. What kind of video is it?
Load it in GSpot, and post a screen shot.

Ok, see how directvobsub is in the video filter graph? That means that it has softsubs. Now if you don't have a seperate file then it means the stream is internal, which would make sense since it looks like it was muxed with AVIMuxGUI. You can use the same app to demux the subtitle stream.
