I am unable to use the following sub, all contain negative timestamps. So I added a TIME OFFSET value, but still nothing shows. Anyone has any advice on how to fix this?
# In millisecs
fadein/out: 50, 50
# Force subtitle placement relative to (org.x, org.y)
align: OFF at LEFT TOP
# For correcting non-progressive desync. (in millisecs or hh:mm:ss:ms)
# Note: Not effective in DirectVobSub, use "delay: ... " instead.
time offset: 01:40:24:080
# ON: displays only forced subtitles, OFF: shows everything
forced subs: OFF
# The original palette of the DVD

# Custom colors (transp idxs and the four colors)

Check your video for negative timestamps (is this even possible?), or where the timestamps start. Then save your subtitles with a corresponding timestamp. Most likely, your video timestamps start at 01:00:00:00.

I am not sure what you mean exactly. The video plays from 0:00:00.000 to 1:40:25.040. What kind of video timestamp are you referring to? And how would I synchronize the subtitles with corresponding timestamp?

I should have read the included .txt file in VobSub first. Thanks for the info, SLK001, it works now. Just needed to use SubResync and change 1st and last timestamp. Cheers!
