A few months ago I noticed some sporadic skipping when playing DVD's through my Sony DAV-C770 dream system. I purchased a laser lens cleaner from Best Buy and another one from Staples. No improvement.

Problem seems to be getting progressively worse with time. Regardless of what CD slot I use (5 disc changer) it seems to skip. I've played the exact same DVD's in different players and there is no issue.

What are my options now besides getting a new system altogether? Do I need to have some professional service on this thing (it's out of warranty by now). Any recommendations on where to go for service?
