I've used SubStation Alpha a.k.a Subtitle Workshop to make some subs for some movie clips. Saved them as .srt. Imported them into DVDLab Pro and generated subtitle stream. Compiled and burned the DVD.

Now the subtitles are in really bad quality, like all pixely and stuff. Now I believe this could be since the video clips are in pretty bad quality too, the resolution is only 320x240 that for some unknow reason has been re-encoded to 480x576... Anyway, do the video resolution affect the subtitle quality? Couse when you preview the subs in the preview-window in DVDLab the subtitles look crisp and clear but the generated subtitle stream doesn't.

Just wanna know if the video size affects the quality of the subtitles and if there's any way of making them look better without changing the video resolution...?
