Hi,
A friend of mine has a Toshiba SD1850ky around 18 months old, and needs it to be region free, I have done a lot of research and tried various things, but so far no luck, can any help, any clues would be appreciated.

I have successfully changed my Toshiba SD1850KY into a multi-zone machine. The method is posted under that model number on the VideoHelp website.
