That would be nice. Especially since I can't find that info for the Memorex ones Epson suggests (no flaming, they work for me). Of course, maybe that's why the software has the defaults it does.

Prodisc Silver matte

The silver hub-printable Prodisc media I have has the same printable area as the white hub-printable Prodisc. I too thought that the printable area was only 33mm and printed my first disc with that dimension. I think one is fooled because the print area extends beyond the dye portion of the disc. The absence of the dye underneath makes that portion of the print area appear lighter in color, as if the printable surface didn't extend that far. But it really is printable up to 22mm just like the white.

that's why I put hub printable next to the ones that are hub printable.
I can guarantee 100% that the Prodisc silver matte discs that I have right here can not be printed to the hub
I will however, add silver matte hub printables

Yes, you did. But since 33mm is exactly the dimension that I first (incorrectly) measured on my silver Prodisc, I thought you'd made the same mistake that I did. I apologize for any confusion I caused.
BTW, where did you get your non-hub printable Prodiscs?

Supermediastore Prodisc S03 about 9 months ago. I still have 10 left out of 50. Never really use them since I do not care for the holographic look. I just use them now for my home movie creations

I tend to agree with you on this one. It does look okay for a couple of labels that I made up myself, but mostly it looks kinda strange. I do like the texture of the silver media better though. It almost seems to hold the ink better.

Thanks Rick.
Yeah I didn't know about the Ritek non hubs
I know it would be nice to have the media codes but then it would get too complicated Think that can wait for the info to be added to the official media list by Mr. B

I have a bunch of Prodisc silver matte 4x DVD-r that I got from supermediastore.com. Their product ID is DVD01X0121 and the media code is MCC02RG20. They are NOT advertised as inkjet printable, but are they? At the time I bought them I wasn't interested in printing on them, but now I am (I just ordered an Epson R200). Anybody know?

You might want to start a new thread for this question.
I always thought that the MCC id was only for 8X media. I have some really old silver matte inkjet printable from SMS and the id is S03

Optodisc 100 pack 4.7GB 4x DVD-R White Inkjet Hub Printable Bulk
Ratings:
Product Code: DVD01X0092-100
Manufacturer: Optodisc
Mfr part #:
How can I get the dimensions for these disks? I am new to this and these may not be the best disks out there, but they serve my purpose of learning.

Measure them with a ruler or something and I'll add it to the list.
