Q1 - yep, it's that simple.
DVD/DIVX players will give you an on-screen directory listing of the directories/files on the disk and usually show an icon against each filename indicating what type i.e. DIVX, MP4, MPG, VCD, DVD etc.
You just use your navigation buttons on the remote to make a selection from the directory. While playing, the 'Next' and 'Previous' buttons will switch between files and it will automatically play the next file in the list until it hits the end of the list.

Q2 - there are so many available now and which ones will vary from country to country - have a look at the player reviews on this site to get an idea. I'd recommend getting one that supports many different formats (even WMV if available).

q1 - yes.

q2 - I have the Zensonic Z330.

Go to http://www.videohelp.com/dvdplayers ,and make sure that you select DivX/XviD/MPEG-4, amongst any other features you require. This'll give you a whole range of players to choose from. Read the reviews, and you'll be half-way there wink.gif
