I need to get my wife a dvd player for xmas for the bedroom tv. The one she has although we have barely used it, seems to skip over my recorded dvds. I do plus and minus. My living room has a Philips and it plays my dvd perfectly. Can I please have some recomendations for a bedroom player for her under 100 dollars? I dont need it to play any other formats but the plus and minus just like my living room philips does. Should I just seek out another philips are is there something better? Thanks.

From what I've HEARD, the Phillips DVP-642 is great compatibility wise, and I believe you can get it for around $70. No experience with it though..
