Is there a feature/fixed bugs list for this upgrade?

The new firmware also seems to enable macrovision, if that's an issue for anyone. There might be a way to shut it back off, but I haven't found it or seen it around anywhere.

Does the new firmware even help the dvd player cause all i heard was bad things about it. If this dvd player was available at a wal-mart where i live in Canada i would try divx and xvid files and then put the firmware on and see if it makes any difference good or bad and if it does alot of bad then i can just return it back to walmart and get a new one.

Do you live in Canada? I sure do and my wal-mart said they would have alot in and 2 doesnt count as alot. They also said they would get more well Christmas is coming and still no word from them. Even the stupid managers dont know or maybe there not saying cause they know they will sell out fast.
