Internet In Topologilinux 5?

I just installed Topo 5 after uninstalling 4. I cannot get my dsl internet connection to work in real mode or colinux. I did the network setup at startup, I wasn't sure of my domain (I just said tds.net, which is my provider), and said use DCHP server to auto detect settings. The reason that this is frustrating is that when I run the Knoppix live-cd it will automatically recongnize my settings, no problem. Any ideas on how to get my internet working?
