I'm using the BeyondTV 3.5 beta with my two DSR and capturing with a hauppage PVR-250 and an all in wonder 7500.It works well for me(meets my needs),but if your looking for DVD archival quality it's not there yet, if your looking for record it/watch it/delete it then it's OK. That said it still is probably the best of the soft PVR's out there right now(non Linux).Check the forums at snapstream you can download a fully functional 21 day trial ,also check your receiver, it's probably serial supported, so you might not need an IR blaster to change channels only a db9 serial cable.
