I was talking to a local Satillite tv and A/V equipment retailer the other day and he told me of new dlp tv's that will be able to be hung on the wall. He said that they will be just a tad thicker than plasmas, but will run cooler and not degrade over time. He also said that they should be out sometime this fall, however he didn't know of a price yet. Can anyone confirm or deny this information? If these are as good as he's talking, I might get one of those instead of the plasma I was thinking about.

I haven't heard much about them, other than yes, they will be a much better option then plasma or lcd.
The only reason I could see for ever getting a plasma is the small space requirements (and ease of moving them).

Heh, get a sub-$100 projector and replace the $250 bulb every few years.
