im having a strange problem with my dvd-rom drive.
what im trying to do is watch a dvd movie (original, not a backup),
and it seems that power dvd just locks up on me.
the really strange thing is that its doing it only with some movies and not all of them.
i have tried reinstalling powerdvd a 1000 times, but it doesnt help.
the dvd rom is region free (RPC-1) and all the movies i watch are
with the same region, so its not a region problem.
there are NO scratches on the dvd's so you can rule that out too.
ALL the dvd's play just fine on my standalone dvd player
and i can rip the dvd's to the HD with no problem.
as i said, the problem is only with some of the movies.
the dvd rom is a toshiba sd-1612 by the way.
please help !!!
